In short

Shiftati does not know who you are. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. We only receive anonymous data that is not linked to you: a daily count of app opens per workplace, the workplaces and shift patterns you add, your confirmation of today's shift, and any report you send.

Where your data lives

Your rotation, day edits and points are stored only on your device. If you unlock Shiftati Pro, the same data is copied to your personal iCloud account through Apple to sync between your devices. We cannot access it.

Adding a workplace and sharing its rotation (optional)

While setting up, you may choose to help colleagues by sharing your group's position in the shift cycle. Only the workplace name and ministry you entered, the group, the shift pattern, today's date and its position in the cycle are sent. No name, phone number or device identifier is included, and you can switch the option off before sending.

What users add is shown to everyone

Workplaces and rotations added by users are shown to everyone who uses Shiftati, after an automatic check that blocks offensive words, links and phone numbers, and are labelled "Added by Shiftati users". Don't put a person's name or any private details in a workplace name.

Confirming today's shift

When you confirm today's shift, one vote counts per connection per day. To stop repeats we keep a one-way scrambled code for two days, then it is deleted automatically; it can't be turned back into your address. We don't store your IP address.

Reporting

You can report an offensive workplace or a wrong rota from inside the app (version 1.1 and later) or at kout@me.com. We hide offensive content and remove anything that breaks the rules. A report sends only the workplace and the reason.

What stays on your phone

Share codes, calendar export, alarms, and your overtime and swap logs stay on your phone and never reach us.

Reminders

Shift reminders are scheduled locally on your device and never pass through a server.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Children

Shiftati is made for adults who work shifts. We don't collect personal data from anyone.
